Toadlick Music Festival…

Quote for Today: The world has held great Heroes, As history books have showed; But never a name to go down to fame Compared with that of Toad! Kenneth Grahame

Spring is fast approaching and that means lots of fun is on the horizon. We are always interested in hearing about concerts and festivals that people are excited about. This one came about in a memorable way. There is nothing like the news one is privy to while getting their hair done. The atmosphere reminds me of scenes from Truvy’s Beauty Shop in the movie Steel Magnolias. If you ever get yourself beautified at Mia’s Hair Salon, you will feel the same way.

Coming up April 11-13th is the Toadlick Music Festival at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan, Alabama. This is the second annual three day event with some of the hottest Country Music, Rock, and Southern Rock artists/bands. Right now, bands can register to compete in the Battle of the Bands. The winner will have an opportunity to play before thousands of people as the opening act for Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Colt Ford.  Reserve your weekend getaway now for the Toadlick Music Festival in Alabama.

In true Southern style, this is a B.Y.O.C.C. (Bring your own collapsible cooler) event. Food, soft drinks and water will be available for sale on the premises. We are hoping for sunny skies and good times for all fest goers.
