New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2017

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2017

Quote of the Day: “There are only two things: love, all sorts of love, with pretty girls, and the music of New Orleans or Duke Ellington. Everything else ought to go, because everything else is ugly.” Boris Vian

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival kicked-off today with jazz artists, Cajun foods, and crafts featured throughout the grounds. The festival will be in high gear from April 28 – Sunday, May 7th.

The line-up of entertainers will knock your socks off. Take a look at the schedule and plan your trip to see your favorite entertainers.

Here are a couple of our favorites Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and Pitbull. If you love jazz and good music period, you’ll be pleased with the entertainment.

“New Orleans food is as delicious as the less criminal forms of sin.” Mark Twain

There’s nothing like down home Cajun cooking and you’ll find a great selection from Louisiana natives. Take a look at the food list for planning your Cajun feast.

Visit the Marketplace

You will be welcomed in the villages and marketplaces where vendors showcase their unique crafts.

The Nawlins art is a popular souvenir. The selections are great again this year. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival poster is worthy of being framed. If you’re unable to attend this year’s fest, you can order online.
