Quote for Today:  Whoever said that money couldn’t buy happiness simply didn’t know where to go shopping.  Bo Derek   CJ & I went shopping off the beaten path today at Tates Grocery Store in Hartford, Alabama.  Even though it is 57 mile drive, we feel it is worth it.  Tate’s is a little tough to describe accurately.  At first glance, it looks like a convenience store/gas station.  But, when you pull in the parking lot you see how big this corrugated building really is.  As you make your way to the front door, you are greeted by grocery carts and pallets of close out items from pasta sauces to 50 lb sacks of cake flour.  Unlike many surplus and close out grocery stores, Tate’s has a wide variety of brands and packaging sizes for almost all their products.  ...
